2013 in Review

What an incredible year!  We are so grateful for all the Lord has done in and through us!

Just 12 months ago, Jonathan finished his Master’s degree!  The rigors of completing weekly assignments while still teaching Algebra classes and coaching three sports took him from us for 18 months, but we were thrilled to have regular meals and family time again.  The difficulties of the time spent away quickly were forgotten once he walked across that stage!

During our traveling for Thrivensity this year, we went to Washington, Florida, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, California and all around Texas.  Not all of these trips were as a family, but more were this year than last.  We look froward to the day when we can all go together full time.

Now seven and a half and thriving in second grade, Audrey is a social butterfly.  When we’re home, we have enjoyed being involved with the youth soccer and basketball leagues, After School Kids (a student ministry of Community Bible Study) and in our church as children and youth ministries.  We love our Wednesday evening care group with the college-aged and 20s group.

Of course, now we’re in the midst of basketball season.  We look forward to cheering on the Tigers into 2014 and what the next year of challenges and blessings will bring!
